The Gnostic Centre has been engaged in research and innovation since 1996, towards creating spaces that facilitate an inner development and are based on organic and nature-friendly principles.

The Centre is presently engaged in researching into energy conservation and regeneration through the use of alternative technologies of heating and cooling, water conservation, waste recycling and natural composting. Some of the systems are listed below.

• Earth Tunnel (Natural Fresh Air based) cooling & heating system – used in the Shrine chamber
• Solar Water Heating system – used in the Health Centre
• Water based Chilling system – used in the Health Centre
• Vermicompost

• Leaf manure
• Organic waste manure
• Segregation of organic and inorganic waste
• Organic anti-termite treatment
