Research & Development of an Integral Curriculum

(for the fivefold being – mental, vital, physical psychic, spiritual)

for the ages of 18 months to 4 years


The Gnostic Centre’s pre-nursery school, L’avenir (the future) has been engaged in action-research since 2001, to develop an Integral Curriculum for the fivefold being. The main focus areas are:

• Building up the foundations of a sound physical culture: health, stamina, agility, balance, rhythm, coordination, control
• Inculcating a love for Beauty & Harmony
• Understanding one’s emotions & responses
• Building up positive qualities & attitudes in oneself
• Training the powers of the mind: concentration, observation, imagination, clarity
• Providing an atmosphere where the children can come in touch with their inner self and express it in their learning and interactions

Research & Development of a new Pedagogy

for the ages of 18 months to 4 years to facilitate

Participatory and Continuous Objective and Subjective Learning


At The Gnostic Centre’s pre-nursery school, L’avenir (the future), the teachers are continuously engaged in researching and experimenting with participatory teaching methodologies for both subjective and objective growth of the children.

Formulation & Innovation of New Evaluation Techniques

(continuous & summative) based on Action Research

for the ages of 18 months to 4 years


Along with an Innovative Curriculum and Pedagogy, the Gnostic Centre’s pre-nursery school is researching into new Evaluation Techniques – both on a continuous basis and summative (twice a year) basis. Not only do the teachers evaluate the children, they also engage in self-evaluation techniques.
